The Government Engineering College, Daman has started in the year 2018 and is taking professional shape in state-of-the-art educational campus to cater to the educational needs of the students in the field of Engineering and Technology. The prime motto of the institution is "Technological empowerment & growth of the youth of our region; and fulfilment of the growing demands of industries in the fields of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer & Bio-Medical Engineering".

The Foundation Stone of this institute was laid by The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on 24th February 2018. This institute is administered by the U.T. Administration of Daman & Diu, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi & affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad.

We have a vision of developing the youth of Daman & Diu, DNH and the nearby region by imparting technical knowledge in the field of engineering and thereby developing the forthcoming generation, so that they can contribute to the development of the society.

We strive hard to address the specific needs of students and also endeavouring to meet the great expectations of the industrial world by building proficient future engineers.

We believe in providing quality education. The Bachelor of Engineering Courses in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering with full-fledged infrastructure have been started, providing students with quality resources from the day one.
